Marlena Sauer has worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and families in a variety of settings for over five years.
Marlena received her Bachelor's in Psychology at Michigan Technological University, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University, and a Master's degree in Family Life Education at Concordia University. Marlena is a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. Marlena's background includes working in a variety of settings, such as elementary schools, in-home therapy, and supervised parenting facilities. Marlena's work with children emphasizes play therapy and working with the parents or guardians to promote change in the child's environments that will best help them. Marlena's work with adolescents and adults emphasize strengths and empowerment to adapt healthy coping skills in working towards optimal mental health.
